Latin lines read with high confidence. In the Hebrew, one short line between 'קשים ומרים' and the name is not resolvable and was left out, and the day-letter before טבת is ambiguous (reads like ב or כ) so it was not supplied. A separate inscribed plaque at the head carries a quotation which appears to be Psalms 94:12 laid out in two columns under the headings כתר / תורה: אשרי הגבר / אשר תיסרנו / יה ומתורתך / תלמדנו (medium confidence, small lettering).) | 16/08/2026: decision du proprietaire sur la page des decisions ouvertes.
