This record holds 20/10/1957; an independent reading of the stone (ZBL_9678 (180), twice, once at 9x) reads 20 Octobre 1937. The digit is genuinely hard - a worn 3 and a 5 look alike in this raised face. Circumstantial support for 1937: SAADIA LEB, aged 6, died 26 November 1937 and lies in the same cemetery, and the two stones are of one workshop. NEITHER date was overwritten; the second photograph is attached so a human can look.
